Come and join us on the 30th June 2012, for a fun-packed day of great music and entertainment at the 2012 Gig on the Green Yateley.

Following on from last year’s widely acclaimed inaugural event, Yateley Sports CIC, are once again staging a festival that will offer a great day out for all the family.

Featuring a line up of the UK's top tribute bands including headline tribute acts this year Queen and Bon Jovi, as well as a hand-picked selection of the region’s hottest musical talent. We invite you to bring a picnic, friends and family, and come along and chill out with us on the green.

Like last year a highlight of the day will be the final sing off for the Y Factor contest to choose Yateley’s very own new singing stars in an ‘X’ Factor style contest featuring the best young talent from schools and colleges in the area. Another star attraction will be the Battle of the Bands contest where local school bands will battle it out on stage to carry off the coveted title of Gig on the Green Top Band 2012.

Last year’s event raised an impressive £10,000 to kick-start the fund to build new sporting facilities in Yateley and all proceeds from this year’s event will also go towards raising money for this worthwhile community-inspired project.
